Dr. Gene Fambrough is professor of percussion and assistant director of bands at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he has been on the faculty since 2001. He was an associate editor for the marching percussion area of Percussive Notes from 2013 to 2021 and is proud to be on the education rosters of Innovative Percussion, Pearl/Adams, Sabian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, and Black Swamp Percussion.
