ATTEND THE UPC WORKSHOP AT PASIC!
The University Pedagogy Committee promotes and enhances the exploration, improvement, elevation, and facilitation of the craft of percussion at every level of college teaching. The Pedagogy Workshop aims to attract, learn from, develop, collaborate, and foster new strategies in percussion pedagogy. The workshop will provide opportunities for networking as well as professional development. Individuals registered for PASIC can attend most workshop components. See below to register to participate in a mock job interview or to apply for a Presentation on Percussion Pedagogy.
PASIC attendees must apply for P.O.P.P. and mock interviews. All other sessions in the UPC workshop are available to PASIC attendees during the convention.
MOCK JOB INTERVIEW
The mock job interviews will provide pre-tenured university faculty members – including part-time and adjunct faculty members – and doctoral candidates with the opportunity to test their interviewing skills.
Ten mock job interview applicants will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants must have an active PAS Membership and be registered for PASIC 2025.
PRESENTATIONS ON PERCUSSION PEDAGOGY (P.O.P.P.)
