Lucid Duo’s performance is a compelling showcase of marimba virtuosity. As first-prize winners of the Universal Marimba Competition (Belgium, 2011), Irena and Tomasz have performed extensively at international festivals and concert halls across Europe, Asia, and Mexico. Their work has been presented at major venues including the Auditorio de Tenerife, National Concert Hall Taipei, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Izumi Hall Osaka, and Ginza Yamaha Hall Tokyo. The ensemble has been featured at renowned festivals such as the Taiwan International Percussion Convention, Sofia Music Weeks, the Festival Internacional de Marimbistas (Mexico), and the Midis-Minimes Festival (Belgium). They have given lectures and masterclasses at leading institutions including the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Toho Gakuen and Kunitachi Colleges in Tokyo, Taipei National University of the Arts, and Osaka College of Music, and have served as guest jury members for international percussion competitions.
