The High Point University Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Louis Raymond-Kolker, is a core part of the percussion curriculum at High Point University. The ensemble consists of students from across the university, including music majors, minors, and non-majors, and several music students whose primary instrument is not percussion. The HPU Percussion Ensemble is dedicated to performing a dynamic and diverse array of percussion music, especially focused on commissioning and premiering new works for small and medium ensembles.
