Greg Hersey
Greg Hersey is a percussionist and educational artist based out of Jacksonville Florida. Greg is the Director of Instrumental Music and Performing Arts Department Chair at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Greg Hersey is a graduate of the University of North Florida School of Music and holds a Master's degree in Percussion Performance. In addition to being a full-time educator, Greg works as a freelance percussionist in the Jacksonville area. Greg performed at the 2023 Essence Music Festival of Culture in New Orleans hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh. Greg was invited to perform as the headlining clinician for the 2024 Music City Drum Show in Nashville Tennessee, showcasing his creative approach to percussion. He is an artist for YurtRock music loop library. His strong social media presence with now over 420k followers has significantly impacted the hip-hop and drumming communities. Greg is an artist for Ludwig, Zildjian, Vic Firth, Evans Drumheads, Rustic Percussion.

Participants will gain practical tools for integrating acquired skills into performance, such as recording and isolating parts, experimenting with setups, and prioritizing essential elements for creativity.
