Unlock the Power of Coaching in Education

Session Description:

Explore a transformative approach to coaching/teaching that fosters connection, empowerment, and personal growth for both educators and students. Based on Michael Bungay Stanier’s book, “The Coaching Habit”, attendees discover seven essential coaching questions designed to enhance communication, build trust, and unlock the potential of others.

Shift from being a directive expert to a supportive coach. Avoid common pitfalls in leadership, such as over-dependence, overwhelm, and disconnection. Develop actionable habits to “talk less and listen more.”

Practical Application:
1. Exploration of the “Irresistible 1-2-3 Question Combination.”
2. Strategies to tame the “Advice Monster” and embrace silence.
3. “Before Coaching” and “After Coaching” student-faculty interactions to discover ways to apply these skills.

By the end of the session, attendees leave equipped with coaching tools to enhance their teaching effectiveness, strengthen relationships, and reclaim joy in their roles. This session is perfect for educators seeking to inspire others while streamlining their own workload.
