Murray S. Piper, noted Performer, Instructor, Clinician, and Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University Peabody Institute. Piper is the founder and director of Passionate Drumming & Music Lessons, which was driven from his early passion for drums. Piper received his B.S. music degree with a concentration in instrumentalists from Morgan State University. Piper has been teaching drums/percussion since 2004. Piper has performed for 3 Presidents and Vice Presidents of the United States of America. Piper is also a teaching artist for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Orchkids & Arts Everyday program in Baltimore, MD. Piper has led percussion programs for the University of Maryland Baltimore County dance department. Piper is currently a proud drumset committee member of the Percussive Arts Society.
