About PASIC Volunteering

PASIC is the largest percussion event in the world featuring over 120 concerts, clinics, master classes, labs, workshops, panels and presentations. The finest artists from all over the world are invited to present and perform at PASIC. The program showcases all areas of percussion, including: drumset, marching, keyboard, symphonic, world, recreational, education, music technology, new music, and health & wellness.

We are seeking numerous hard working and enthusiastic individuals to lend their time, talent, and knowledge to this exciting international event. The Percussive Arts Society is working hard to ensure that this convention is a huge success for both the performers and the attendees. Please join us; we need your help to make this event happen!

Online registration has closed for PASIC 2024 Volunteers. Please email membership@pas.org if you are still interested in helping out at PASIC this week!

PASIC Volunteers

Key Information

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age by the beginning of their first shift.

There is a wide range of responsibilities available. Please be sure to review all available positions and their descriptions before choosing the area(s) in which you are interested. Volunteers will be asked to register for two (2) shifts. Each shift is an average of 4–5 hours. Certain positions may require constant activity during a shift, and/or standing for long periods of time.

All volunteers will be provided with a PASIC Event Volunteer T-shirt. Please wear the provided t-shirt, along with comfortable shoes, and either non-distressed jeans, khakis, or black pants for all shifts.

All volunteers will participate in a brief training session designed to familiarize each individual on all planned activities. Volunteers will be briefed on basic skills, specific responsibilities and given an overview of event locations. The training session will take place at the beginning of your shift.
