SESSION TITLE: Both Sides Of The Glass
Nir Zidkyahu also known as Nir Z, was born in Jerusalem, Israel. He is a well-established studio-session drummer. Nir is famous not only for his incredible studio chops and dynamic live presence, but also for the amazing energy he can bring to any musical situation. Nir resided in New York City for eighteen years and the last thirteen years in Nashville, TN where he still lives. Living in Nashville led him to record and perform with major artists such as John Mayer, Genesis , Chris Cornell, Billy Squier, Alana Davis, Little Steven, Ray Wilson, Blake Shelton, Dan and Shay and many others.
Nir is also busy in his own personal recording studio using his vast experience to produce tracks and play drums and percussion for musicians all over the world. Nir Z was hired by the company Toontrack to record the drums samples for their virtual drummer program, Superior Drummer, which includes all the new legacy studios 2.0,[1] New York Studios Vol.2 SDX,[2] and New York Studios Vol.3 SDX.
