ABOUT Lisa Colleen (Beale)

Consulting: Lisa Colleen is the founder and principal with LC Coaching LLC, (DBA LC Rhythm Events), a high-energy consultancy that applies rhythm, movement, and neuroscience to the art of reframing perspectives for health, happiness and wellbeing. 

Education & Coaching: Prior to expanding her coaching business in 2011, Lisa Colleen was a professional educator, and an ICA certified life coach and personal growth workshop facilitator. For over 13 years she has focused on bringing wellness programs to schools, special needs communities and senior living communities, while supporting the work of Bongo Boy Music School in Indianapolis, IN as their Director of Program Development. 

Applied Educational Neuroscience: Lisa Colleen completed the graduate certificate program in AEN with an emphasis on Adversity/Trauma and the Brain from Butler University in 2021. Her work has expanded into the consulting/workshop arena including senior, special needs and school communities, where she applies research-based learning in the areas of brain and nervous system development. She demonstrates how emotional, social, and cognitive development are disrupted by adversity and trauma, and uses rhythm and movement as a framework for regulation and resiliency introducing a post-traumatic growth mindset of the brain and nervous system for reparation and well-being. 

Drum Circle Facilitation: Lisa Colleen is recognized as an Endorsed Drum Circle Facilitator for Remo, Inc. She is a creator and co-creator of numerous rhythm-based programs for schools and senior living communities. She has presented both nationally and internationally sharing the importance of rhythm and movement for regulation and well-being at Butler University’s Applied Educational Neuroscience Symposium, Indiana School Teacher’s Association Fall Conference, Indiana Parkinson’s Fall Conference, Trilogy Health Service’s InspirationFest, IADA (Indiana Activity Directors Association) Annual Conference, and DCFA (Drum Circle Facilitator Association-Japan) Drumming for Wellness Conference and Midwest School Social Work Conference.
