I’ve heard people say that they cannot stand the sound of bowed vibraphone. The truth is that bowed vibraphone notes, when utilized appropriately, can wonderfully portray a spectrum of emotions and moods—haunting, mysterious, luxurious, serene, beautiful, etc. Such is the case with this collection of eight pieces for percussion quartet.
