Italian group Empty Words Percussion Ensemble presents their first volume of a collection of John Cage’s work. Over the course of nine tracks, the ensemble provides examples of the various ways Cage wrote music for percussion—from the stricter “written out” scores of “Quartet” and “Trio,” through the freedom of actions and instrumentation in “But What About The Noise of Crumpling Paper,” to one of the late Number Pieces, “Three2.”
