Transcribed and arranged for 5-octave marimba, Troy Bennefield’s compilation of four of Mauro Giuliani’s rondeaux for guitar include opus 3, numbers 1 and 2, as well opus 14, numbers 1 and 5. Giuliani lived from 1781 until 1829 and is considered to be the leading Italian guitar virtuoso of the 19th century.
