Hinting at the compositional style of “Dance of Passion” by Robert Aldridge, and the slow permutation-based works of Burritt and Sammut, this four-minute solo is full of subtle rhythmic fluctuations, flexes in tempo, and a pleasing (although sometimes predictable) chord structure.
