Composer/percussionist Robyn Schulkowsky is perhaps best known in New Music circles and has premiered or recorded some of the most important percussion works of the 20th and 21st centuries, including composers such as Stockhausen, Wolff, Cage, Feldman, and Xenakis. Her latest offering is a recording of her original composition, “Armadillo,” a large-scale work in four sections. It features the percussion trio of Schulkowsky, Fredy Studer, and Joey Baron.
