What began as an assignment around 1970 at the University of Illinois from the great composer Herbert Brün, and encouraged by Michael Udow’s teachers, Jack McKenzie and Thomas Siwe, became a 30-year labor of love and outlet for the Equilibrium dance/percussion duo with creative multi-disciplinary collaboration between dancer/choreographer Nancy Udow and percussionist/composer Michael.
