Trippy, yet refined and darn hard to categorize improvised music. The new CD by other three (Brad Dutz, percussion; John Fumo, trumpet; and Kim Richmond, saxophone) is reminiscent of free jazz (à la Ornette Coleman), but with a decidedly more avant-garde and world music inspired edge, mostly thanks to Dutz’s fabulous drumming and percussion work.
