Most transcriptions for marimba of Baroque pieces are by J.S. Bach. While Bach certainly represents some of the best music ever written, there are a great many other Baroque pieces that work well on the instrument, and Baroque for Marimba is a nice collection of 15 of them. In addition to two pieces by J.S. Bach, the collection features several by Handel and Telemann, and one each by Barbirolli, Mouret, Giordani, and Calara.
